Connect™ Platforms
Versatile Event Response Systems
Most Indyme retail solutions include a ConnectTM platform at the store that orchestrates overall solution functionality. The Connect platform comprises a configurable alarm-processing engine, messaging library, data retention bank, and extensive connectivity to event trigger sources and communication devices. This versatile event response system enables the Connect Platform to powerfully contribute to sales, productivity, loss prevention, and risk management objectives
Enterprise Layer Performs data gathering and administration of multiple stores.

Store Layer The Connect™platform platform receives and processes alarm triggers, interacts with various store communication devices, and retains activity data.
End Device Layer The End Device layer includes call boxes and other event trigger generators in the store and various types of communication devices with which Connect™ interfaces.

Connect™ platforms include standard and optional connectivity and alarm processing options to accept event triggers from many sources and provide messaging to a variety of devices. Connect also retains activity data to support report generation.
Meeting retailer needs: A range of Connect™ platform types and options Indyme offers three Connect™ platforms, each of which provide numerous functions and options. An Indyme sales engineer identifies the most appropriate platform for your current situation and future needs, analyzes store needs and objectives, specifies appropriate end-devices, and defines system configuration.
Connect Start

Small but mighty, Connect StartTM is an entry platform that readily supports many Indyme standard event-processing solutions. This popular platform is serving shoppers and teams in thousands of retail stores.
Connect Start is a full featured store-level platform that accepts up to 1,000 alarm input triggers from shopper call boxes, other wireless devices, and Ethernet QuickLink™ sources. The unit follows alarm engine rules to determine what audio or text message it should route to which device(s) for initial and escalation notifications for each alarm. Connect Start retains activity data that can be used to drive management reports at store and corporate levels.
Measuring a mere 7.5”w x 5”h x 1”d (19 x 12.7 x 2.5 cm), Connect Start typically mounts on a utility room wall that is convenient for connection to the telephone system, audio amplifier, or other communication equipment.
Connect LX

The Connect LX (CLX) is a powerhouse platform that supports nearly all of Indyme’s solution suite including alarm processing, telephone call processing (analog or VoIP), secure WiFi end devices, high fidelity audio options, and more.
CLX is Indyme’s primary platform for integrating with the latest wireless communication devices introduced to the retail market and it includes integral development tools enabling Indyme sales engineers to provide a nearly endless array of special functions meeting both typical and unusual operational needs.
Additionally, a variety of optional hardware modules enables Indyme CLX to interface with many analog and VoIP telephone systems and other devices. Adapters for bulkhead and 19” (1U) rack mounting provided with the unit.
If your store plans to embrace new communication devices or intends to explore unique and progressive communication technology methods to improve operations, CLX will most likely be the platform recommended for you.
Connect Software and Gallery

Connect Software typically installs on an existing store server running a Windows® operating system and supports most of the Indyme solutions suite. Since many servers do not provide I/O ports that adequately support integration to some store communication destinations, such as non-VoIP routing to overhead speakers or 2-way radios, the optional Ethernet-linked Connect Gateway provides these interfaces. The Connect software platform has proven to be an effective and versatile solution choice for thousands of stores.
