Letter from the Prez…I Was Just Another Frustrated Shopper
Driving off, I wondered how many other discouraged shoppers did the same thing every day. How much business just walked out the door and maybe never came back? What a terrible loss of income and good will! Though no purchase was made that day, the germ of an idea emerged - a way to guarantee shoppers prompt and personal help in any store. I shared this new idea with the president of the same 300-store chain that had blessed me with so much frustration. He enthusiastically embraced the new concept. So with his encouragement (and a small financial advance for two systems), a nucleus of engineers started working on what has evolved into today’s powerful and versatile Indyme retail solution set. It didn't take long for other retailers to recognize how our new products could help them build sales, increase productivity, and reduce shrink. It soon seemed almost every week we’d be asked how the technology might be applied to solve other problems in their stores. Then, as now, we loved the challenge. We are grateful for the many clients over the years that had the confidence in us to share their problems and ideas. That confidence continues to enable us to solve a few more problems each and every year for our valued retail clients.
