Optimizing Service without Additional Staff

Challenge

A mid-size grocer was experiencing shopper service delays among key departments, and reports were indicating a coinciding reduction in departmental conversions. To solve these problems, the grocer feared they would need to hire additional counter staff to meet the shopper service demand.

Solution

This chain approached Indyme with their shopper service challenge. After consulting with the Indyme team, this grocer decided to implement Indyme’s CB480 countertop shopper help button technology and flexible CONNECT StartTM communication platform to handle their shopper assistance requests. Indyme installed the most straight-forward, chain-wide solution: Countertop-mounted help buttons are placed around the store’s service counters.
