Quicklink™
Now any network device can talk to your team
QuickLink™ enables virtually any device or system on a store’s network to trigger message notification to one or more store team members.
For example, a quick POS button press could trigger a message such as “Additional cashiers needed” on overhead speakers, 2-way radios, or other devices. With all of the devices on your network, the range of possible event notification that could help stretch a lean team to better meet customer expectations, and enormously increase productivity, and reduce shrink.

QuickLink accepts event triggers from any device or system on your network and sends notification messages that can route to virtually any type of communication devices used by retail stores.
QuickLink™ makes communication easy Any device on your store or enterprise network can trigger a single message or even a message sequence. For example, a shopper-facing kiosk that runs out of paper can notify team members via 2-way radio or other devices; if the condition persists, reminder or escalation messages are sent. Reports revealing how long the kiosk was unavailable are available for management review.
All of this happens with surprising simplicity from the perspective of the kiosk. Using guidelines provided by Indyme’s QuickLink™ Software Development Kit (SDK), a small software module enables the kiosk to send a short burst of information to the Indyme Connect Platform. QuickLink™ takes it from there!

The Motorola MK500 and MK 2000 Micro Kiosks™ represent on type of shopper touch point that can be used to trigger assistance requests via Indyme's QuickLink™ application.
QuickLink™ Client empowers your POS or PDA too! Using QuickLink™ Client (QLC), your POS or PDA becomes an instant communication trigger. QLC provides a pop-up menu of message options. A quick press triggers message delivery to 2-way radios, wireless phones, or other destinations! Cashiers can select precisely the type of assistance needed with message options; such as the denomination of needed change.
A manager with a PDA can quickly trigger a task order to have shopping carts gathered from the parking lot, to direct more cashiers to the front of the store, or even to broadcast a pre-recorded promotional message to shoppers on the overhead speakers.

With QuickLink™ Client, messages selected on a PDA menu can route to virtually any type of communication devices used by retail stores.

- Refrigeration Alarm – Network-linked refrigeration monitoring systems can trigger notification to team members via 2-way radios, wireless phones, or other devices when defects are detected.
- Delivery Truck Arrival (satellite method) – The driver of an arriving company truck presses a button on the truck’s satellite location tracking / communication system to trigger messaging to the store team; speeds door openings and faster truck turns
- Electronic Article Surveillance (EAS) – Notify designated team members of an EAS alarm condition
